Lawrence with Summit Home Repair and Remodeling did an excellent job installing a new front door for me. The home was build in the 1950's and the opening that the old door was in was not square. Lawrence corrected the issues with the door frame and successfully installed the new front door. The new door works beautifully and looks great too! In addition to the quality craftsmanship that he put into his work, Lawrence was also a great communicator. He worked with me on a timeline that worked for us both and was flexible and east to schedule with. I would not hesitate to call him out again should another need arise. Thank you, Lawrence!

Great work. Took down an old, damaged porch and installed a new one. Very professional and I am very pleased with how everything turned out. They even found things I didn’t notice or know about and fixed them with no problem. Would highly recommend Summit!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are not going to be the cheapest every time. There is a reason for that. We believe in doing the job right and it takes time and money to do that. There are also logistics to consider. It takes a lot of time out of the day driving to and from jobs and the trips to get supplies. There is more than just the time spent on-site at the project. It all adds up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing to us is talking with the customer and getting a real feel of where they want to be when the job is done. We all have budgets we need to work within and we do our best to help the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal education includes four years of college. We have 36 years of experience with our hands on the tools. The fun thing is we still learn new stuff all the time.
