We prefer to work with our privately negotiated rate — usually fixed based on the services requested. Please do not take the hourly rates seriously. We find that the more dedicated programmers and designers will work with more quality if not paid hourly. An hourly rate suggests that slow and repetitive work habits should be focused on and less on depth of thought, so a payout is based on time used.
My staff of developers and techs have both professional experience, as well as academic training in their fields.

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Formats and virus removal come in big quantity, but usually they are resolved within the same two hours of the meeting. Outside of that, websites and upgrades and the occasional fire poi performance for outdoor occasions. Just answering the question, of course...
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The only request I have is that one is able to describe what final product he/she is looking for. Other than that, everything is versatile and negotiable.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. A) What sort of project?: (Repair, Web design, Web update, virus removal, etc)
B) The goal of the project.
C) Optional: Draw, speak, squiggle with one hand while explaining the main visual outcome you are seeking.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I'm just finding a way to get by. Don't really need the extra money so I don't tend to charge for it. I metaphorically describe myself the 'mom and pop' to the Dell and other corporate franchises.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Versatility in issues that need fixed. As I'm pretty freelance, it's common that my clientele and environment should change per session.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Customer: Can you get rid of viruses?
Jeff: Forty bucks good?
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I'm trying to reinstate a fair marketing/pricing concept that seems highly unpopular in modern day economics. essentially, I don't want to incur any overhead. So I basically just use the materials I have at hand which seems to be a very simple and effective method. This gives the best quality without making the customer pay for the excessive exterior costs.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I found that the intensive training I had taken throughout high school and college tends to have left me quite flexible in the industry. Through practice and the odd job here and there, it became much more fluid with tasks. So I started utilizing this ability to maintain in the current economy.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I maintain a collection of programming books as reference, and utilize my spare time to study those books, especially when I'm focusing on a specific job which requires specific functionality.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. To be cute, it was a laptop repair on a vista which had the inability to utilize some of its dll functionality. After about twenty minutes of tedious seeking of the issue, I came upon the answer. Five minutes later, she had her computer back with requested results and paid $20.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. Umm, I guess a few hard numbers out of the way:
Virus removal(reasonable difficulty)- $20
Format and attempting to salvage files- $40
Hardware installation- $30 (Covers standard swaps and multiple swaps per single session)
Websites: Start at $400 and go up. These are very easily priced and the content is quite flexible for almost no fees at all. The deals acquired for these are one time only in ANY case.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. I'd suggest that they simply do it and stop with the wanting.
