Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The difference between a $15/hour editor straight out of college and a professional editor/video producer with experience (costing significantly more) is huge. Be prepared to figure out ahead of time if your budget supports a professional or if your budget only allows for someone just starting out. There's nothing wrong with admitting that you don't have the budget on a project to afford an experienced producer/editor - just be honest with yourself ahead of time - it will save everyone time and limit your frustrations with the experience.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I realized early on that I had a love for directing and the post production process when I was in film school. I started interning in Hollywood for a well-known Executive Producer and realized that I'd prefer to go freelance and start my own company instead of being part of the big Hollywood machine. I've worked full time jobs at TV networks where I was an editor and motion graphics designer and have also served my own clients through my business for the last 8 years.

A. My hourly rate listed here is a baseline. For a more complex project I can assess the needs and timing for the production and offer you a better quote or an idea of price. I also work on a day rate as well for projects that will require at least 10 hours of work.
