Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We perform Wedding Ceremonies in many places; Clubhouse, Backyard, Park, Living Room, Event Center, Reception Hall, Hotel Party Room, Restaurant, Church, Outdoor Wedding Venue, we are very flexible!
Some couples opt for a very intimate and casual way to Exchange their Vows... they come to our office at a time they reserve and we will perform their ceremony on the spot.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure the Officiant will arrive properly dressed and ask if you can review the vows beforehand.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our Wedding Officiants are extremely flexible; we will come to any venue at any time. We are very affordable; priced competitvely with the Justice of the Peace. We care about long-lasting marriages, couples are not just a one-time-transaction for us.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We get the opportunity to make a Wedding Day special and personal for the Bride and Groom. Our favorite quote to hear "You gave us exactly what we wanted".
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Question: "How far in advance do I need to book your services?" Answer: We can be ready in as little as 15 minutes, but typically we book about 2 weeks to 1 month in advance.
Question: "Will you come to our backyard?"
Answer: We will come to any location you want us to!
Question: "Do I need witnesses?"
Answer: Texas law says 'No Witnesses are required', you can get married with just the couple and officiant present.
Question: "How long is the ceremony going to take?"
Answer: Anywhere from 8 - 18 minutes... you can personalize the ceremony by adding some personal effects; like unity candle, sand ceremony, special music, poem, etc.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. The Officiant from 'Short and Sweet Weddings' takes every opportunity to get to know the Bride and Groom so they will not feel like a complete stranger conducted their ceremony. We truly care about each Bride and Groom and will treat each ceremony with respect and honor. We ask the Bride and Groom to fill out a 'Get-to-Know-You' form from our website that allows us an opportunity to visit and it gives us the insight to write the perfect vows for each ceremony. Filling out the 'Get-to-Know-You' form is the first step to securing our services for your own 'Short and Sweet Wedding'. We look forward to meeting you!
