Andy Oliver, one of San Angelo's balloon guys, has been playing with balloons for over 30 years. He has been delivering balloon flowers, creating balloon sculptures, and utilizing balloons just to have a lot of fun with both children and adults! No one is ever too old to enjoy a balloon.
In addition, with a degree in elementary education, Andy feels comfortable capturing that "teaching moment", so that the children get a little more than just a balloon. He believes that kids learn most effectively when they're having fun.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. While word-of mouth is probably the best recommendation, look for the amount of experience a balloon artist has.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Balloons are made of latex, not rubber. So they are "green" and planet-friendly. A balloon will biodegrade in a couple of weeks, about the same amount of time as an oak leaf.

A. Are you good with kids?
Can you handle a large crowd?
Are you flexible and can you work around other activities at the event?
Can you create a wide variety of balloon sculptures?
