Survey findings and summary
After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that San Antonio is among the most supportive cities for small businesses. Despite the high praise from San Antonio's small business owners, they did rank among the more pessimistic about their economic prospects over the coming year.
Some of the key findings for San Antonio include:
- San Antonio earned a C+ for the cost of hiring an employee, and a B- for its labor and employment regulations.
- South Texas small businesses are the state's healthiest economically.
