We used Big Buck Moving for what we thought was going to be a difficult office move. Not only were there multiple large furniture items (some needed to be unassembled and reassembled) but there were numerous elevators to be used and during the move we added another stop to drop off several pieces of the furniture at another location (and the extra cost for adding a stop was minimal). The moving team, which included Layden Walker, the Owner, never hesitated, they were happy to do it. Yes, the Owner even helped on this move and from what I understand, he usually shows up to each of the moves to help and/or to meet the customer to make sure they are totally satisfied. The team was very friendly, courteous, respectful and very careful with all of the items. Not one scratch or ding was found on any of the furniture. Layden Walker has created a great family owned company with an excellent team. Big Buck Moving is very efficient and the price was very reasonable, I will use them on another move I have in the near future. I highly recommend them for any type of move you might have.

Do not hire this company. I had a move scheduled for Saturday morning, Memorial Day weekend. The morning of the move I received a text message informing me I needed to be rescheduled due to an issue with a truck. I reluctantly agreed to rescheduled for Sunday, with not so much as an apology or discounted rate for my inconvenience. It was noon on Sunday, and since I had not yet heard from anyone to confirm my 4 pm appointment, I called to double-check. Layden assured me his movers were right on schedule. But by 2:30, I received a text message informing me I was being pushed back to 6:30. Since a text message is neither professional or informative, I was already frustrated by this further delay. I called Layden back to let him know that I could manage a delay until 6:30 so long as his guys could get my furniture into my storage by 9 pm. He said this would be no problem...until I received another text message 45 minutes later. This time he was saying he was worried that they wouldn't be able to secure my move by 9, and he offered to lock my items in his truck overnight and later complete my move another day. When I called him back to clarify the situation, Layden had no concern for the inconvenience he was causing, and in fact told me that I was being uncooperative with him. When I explained I was not comfortable having my furniture locked in a truck overnight, and that I found that to be an unfit offer for my already delayed move, he abruptly declared that my move was canceled and hung up on me. I cannot believe this company manages to remain in business. I was shocked at the utter lack of professionalism, courtesy, and concern I experienced from Layden and his company. I know realize why his extremely low rate is what it is...it's because his company cannot afford to charge people more for indecent service. After reading other reviews here and on yelp, I thank god I dodged the bullet of having to work with these people. Had my furniture or residence been damaged on top of these many inconveniences, I would've been livid. So, if for some odd reason, anyone reading this and other horrible reviews hires Layden and is left in a last-minute lurch, at least know you've been forewarned. Thankfully I found a company open on a Sunday, so I scheduled an appointment with them. They called the morning of my move to confirm, called when they were on their way, arrived early, and completed my move in under 2 hours...that's how a professional moving company stays in business. Layden and company are a joke.

Mine was most definitely not a fake review. It's unfortunate that in the face of true but unflattering reviews, an owner would resort to dishonesty. This highlights not just the lack of professionalism described earlier, but also a lack of personal integrity. The response to the review below mine echoes the arrogant attitude I encountered when I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone. Companies with integrity and high-priority customer service respond to unhappy customers with a simple acknowledgement of their shortcomings; they do not call clients liars, nor do they label them "ungrateful" in the face of criticism. The screenshots of Layden's text messages can be viewed below, which document the numerous delays I cited earlier. Communicating via text is not only unprofessional, but in this case is also an embarrassing rebuttal to someone trying to deflect responsibility. http://s1240.photobucket.com/user/desireenicole86/library/Mobile%20Uploads

I purchased a 2 hour moving package on Living Social and contacted the company to schedule. He responded by text message, when I told him about the deal he said his rates were $100 hour/3 hour minimum with a $75 trip charge. I told him the deal only mentions an additional charge if you're outside of the 20 mile service area and the package I bought included 2 hours. He said Living Social was wrong and I can cancel it if I want to - a completely unprofessional response & absolutely no empathy whatsoever. He did mention he has a side deal for $60 hour and a $50 trip charge. I declined and advised I'd be seeking a refund, he resounded simply "ok". Its clear he has no intention on honoring the deal that he allowed to be posted (and is still posted) on Living Social. Based on the other reviews it seems I dodged a bullet and am thankful I can get my money back. Beware when using!!

I did return your calls and you text me back saying you were busy. I told you how the special was ran and it was an error on their part but lacking information on the trip and 3 hour minimum and was not included. At least I was honest and told you the truth about it unlike most coma pies that wait till you are there. We are running several specials now that it is summer and I was trying to offer you the best deal but apparently you couldn't appreciate that.
