FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use the national averages in terms of my pricing and use reputable sources online that a customer can easily research. I do my best to stay in the low end of the average, however, circumstances may be present that would justify being in the higher end. All pricing is discussed long before any work is completed and typically I take no payment, save for material costs, until work is completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I meet my customer and discuss the work that they would like to have done. Afterwards I ask them WHY they want that done as many times customers simply feel it’s their only option. Knowing why a job is to be done allows me to proactively offer cost saving solutions to ensure the customer is in love with the finished project and there’s no buyers remorse
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Honestly I have no formal training. I worked for an app called TaskRabbit and it opened my eyes to the life of a handyman. There is sooo much information that can be obtained online and I spend my free time doing my homework right along with my kids. While they are working on multiplication and subtraction, I’m reasearxhkng square footages and best practices to get jobs done with integrity and honesty
