We believe that House of Birth is a wise woman's option. Midwives Hillary and Pam each have over 20 years experience attending out-of-hospital births. We are equipped, knowledgeable, and experienced to handle emergencies.
We are midwives providing complete maternity care for healthy women and their babies, from conception through 6 weeks postpartum. We consider ourselves "Guardians of natural birth".
We work to assist our clients to birth safely, without any unnecessary interventions. Should our clients need medical care, local hospitals are nearby.
Our goal is to help our clients birth naturally and unmedicated, either in our beautiful, peaceful birth center or in their homes. Some of our clients love the waterbirth option, while others especially like the ability to move freely during labor if they wish.
All our clients appreciate the personalized care they receive at House of Birth. We offer a tour and free consultation for those wishing for more information.

A. Look for a midwife who will try to help you achieve your birthing goals. She should be experienced and should listen to you. She should be committed to natural birth, but know when to seek medical help when necessary.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Midwives generally love to help women have their babies naturally. Midwives need clients who are healthy, eat well, exercise moderately, and who are committed to a natural, safe birth. Those clients also need to be willing to seek medical help when necessary.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How much experience do you have? Are you equipped, knowledgeable, and experienced to be able to handle emergencies? Will you listen to me and help me achieve my birthing goals?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. What are they willing to do in order to have a birth center birth? Are they willing to sacrifice their favorite junk foods to be healthier and increase their chances of a success? Will they be willing to research all their treatment options, make informed decisions, and accept the consequences for those desisions?
