Cody with Photo 22 Photography is the best! He is very professional, and most importantly takes GREAT PICTURES! He did a wonderful job on my maternity photo shoot, and then taking our newborn's first professional pictures! He was patient with me and all of my different pose requests and nailed them! We live all the way in Missouri City - and he took the time to come out to us. It was a very personal, family-like session and I felt 100% comfortable during both photo shoots. His editing skills are great as well! Thanks again Cody! I'll contact you soon for our son's Baptism! :-)

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common job I have right now is portrait photography although weddings have been booking up quite a bit lately.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When someone is looking to hire a photographer I would say they should get to know a little bit about the photographer and definately view some of his/her sample work. A good review can go a long way but people's taste vary and they should look for a photographer that is going to provide them with the style of photos they are after.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I take the time to go the extra mile without charging the extra price. Basically, I really enjoy what I do and I want to make sure that each of my clients walks away, not just thinking, but honestly knowing that their photographer not only met their needs but greatly exceeded their expectations. I don't look to push "extras" on a client in an effort to make more profit...I feel like I go beyond the call of duty to bring excellent service to my clients. When you hire someone to do a job for you it gives you a good feeling to know that they went that extra mile to make you happy, right?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. That's a tough one but I think what I like most about my job is getting to work with a variety of people, all of whom have different needs and desires and I get to fill their needs by doing something that I love...Photography.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. When I'm doing a photo shoot or interviewing with a prospective client, the question that I can honestly say I get asked the most is, "So, what made you get into photography?" My answer is simply, I really enjoy it. I got my first digital camera when I was in high school and started shooting landscape and nature photos. I enjoyed it but wanted to learn more about it and be able to shoot images like you see in magazines. I studided photography and the many aspects of photography and really got interested in the field. It wasn't until my son was born that I really started capturing portraits of every day life and from there it lead me to what I am doing today...freelance photography.
