Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look around, check with friends of who they use and if they are happy with their provider. Do not go in just looking for the cheapest price. Remember, sometimes you get what you pay for. On the other hand, the most expensive doesn't mean they are the best either. Also remember that if you do not like who came out, you can easily get someone else. These people are in your home. We as technicians need to respect you and your home.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I guess if I was calling a pest control company, I would want to know what kind of training the person coming out to do the work had. Will it be the same person every time. How long have they been taking care of pest. What will they do when they come out. How long will they be there. Do they have a quota of how meay jobs they have to get done? Why are they in pest control?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We have been in business for over 50 years. We are still family owned. When we come out, either my dad or I will be the ones that come out to do the work. We are here to satisfy your needs, and make sure we answer any questions that you might have. Most of our business comes from referrals. We are honored that our customers have enough trust in us to tell others about our quality service. Our goal is for you to be comfortable with your decision to contact us, and always know that we are a phone call away if you need us.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I have always enjoyed meeting people and gaining new friends. I enjoy helping customers to find the best solution for their pest problem. When I have finished the treatment program at their home, I get a warm feeling knowing that they are happy with the program that they are on.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. One question is why should they call me over someone else. I let them know that with Tom Samples Pest Control, they are a person and not a number. We are certified applicators with the state and we keep up with all current training. We do not just come in spend 15 min. and leave. We take the time to listen to the customer and help them understand why these pest are here, and what we will do to eliminate them. We value every customer and out goal is to make them a satisfied customer for life.
