K. Rush Photography started when I decided I just couldn't spend one more day never doing the thing I loved. My name is Kelli Kilchrist, and I am a natural-light photographer. All sessions are at the location of your choice.
I have always loved taking pictures but never had the time to devote to it. As a working mom, real responsibilities always came first, but with inspiration all around me, I decided to make time! So, I started snapping, and I just couldn't stop! Life is too short to never do something you love. I bought a few how-to books but still haven't made it past the introduction, so I decided to learn by trial and error. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
My favorite photos are the ones of people doing what they would naturally do by capturing them being themselves without a lot of posing and pretense.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Photographing children are my most common sessions booked. I am really interested in expanding my newborn portfolio and engagement portfolios!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I always tell my potential customers that I really like to get to know the people I will be photographing. Find a photographer that you feel most comfortable. The more comfortable you feel the better your pictures will be!
