I have 40 years of experience teaching harp, 20 years in the Suzuki "by ear" method and 29 years at university level.
Students have won local and state awards and scholarships. I offer private lessons and ensemble classes.
I prepare students to work in the professional world of harp, including orchestra work, weddings, funerals, healing harp and the concert stage.
All ages are welcome. Beginners may start as young as 5.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Someone looking to hire a harpist should be able to hear the harpist play, preferably in person, or listen to a CD. She should be business like and clear about rates and contract details. What kind of music is available? Does this person play alone or with a group? Is amplification available? Is there an extra charge for travel?
