Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Sure, just about anyone can paint. All you really need is a paintbrush and paint. Then start painting right? Well there is actually much more to a painting job than just painting. The most important and often overlooked part of painting is the prep work. With Peak Painting, we ensure that the prep work is done right. We will tape straight lines, scrape off all the old paint, sand it smooth, and plastic your carpet to ensure that your paint job lasts and it looks sharp. We will also use Sherwin William's Paints which are well known for their longevity and washability.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My favorite part about my job is the satisfaction I receive from doing a job well done. Growing up, I was raised to work hard and not rush through my jobs. I learned to take pride in doing a good job. There is no better feeling than finishing up a paint job and showing it to the homeowners, who are shocked at how good their new paint job looks. So in other words, my satisfaction comes from my customer's satsifaction. If they're not satisfied, then neither am I, and vice versa.

I also really enjoy getting to know my clients. I'm not going to your home to slap paint on it and call it good. I'm there to get to know you, so I can get to know how to best serve you.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Recently, I got a job to paint a deck railing, inside railing and front door for the Moss family in south Bountiful. Their deck railing was black and made of iron. It was fading really bad. I used an oil-based enamel high gloss, black paint on it. As I finished it up, the Moss's were so pleased at how it looked, that they started looking around for more things I could paint. Mrs. Moss asked me to sand and paint a cabinet her dad had built for her. It was over 70 years old. I felt priveleged to work on such an antique. After all the add-ons were complete, I was satisfied and so were they. They gave me a tip to show their satisfaction. If you would like their contact details, let me know, and I would be happy to give them to you.
