FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a handful of questions that comeup with almost every project. Once I have the answers to those questions, I can create an estimate. I always bid projects slightly high. Then I keep track of time and expenses and only charge for the actual work. I also make sure that the final price never goes above the original quote unless there is a change in scope. I do have a pricing structure for more streamlined production like live events.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am always up front. I give new customers the same level of service I give all my customers. That way they will always know the level of service and quality of product they can always expect. I do not believe in working hard to get a client and then leaving them with substandard work on future projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always have to be learning new technology because it is constantly changing in the film industry. I am also an instructor at Weber State University so I have to know the latest trends for my students.
