I am an award-winning certified professional photographer located in Layton, UT. I have had the privilege of photographing over 1,700 weddings (no, that is not a typo!) for wonderful brides and grooms from all over the world.
I have also photographed many, many newborns and children, as well as families, high school seniors, and pets. In order to provide the best possible portraits, I have dedicated myself to continuous education, and training with some of the top photographers in the industry.
My style most often utilizes creative lighting techniques, to provide dramatic and timeless portraits.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Do your research! There are a lot of photographers, and many different styles of photography. Check out their portfolios to see if their style matches your ideal. Don't be afraid to ask them about their experience and how long they have been in business. You may even be able to ask about referrals.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. A "great" camera does not necessarily make a "great" photographer. The best photographers are the ones who educate themselves continuously and are able to apply what they have learned. And believe me, it will show in their work! A true professional will also have a well organized business.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How long have you been a professional photographer? How many {weddings, newborns, seniors, etc} have you photographed? What is your style of photography? Can I view some of your work? Are you able to meet for a consultation?
