At Rocky Mountain Ballet, we know how important it is to develop the whole child. When young children are enrolled in dance classes, they receive the opportunity to have fun with peers while developing their intellectual, social and physical skills, plus coordination and discipline. They gain self-confidence with their emerging abilities.
Scientists have come to conclude that children are developing many aspects of their personality while dancing, such as physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, spiritual and social aspect.
Psychology studies show that children who have been actively exposed to dance and music in their early preschool age have better imagination, scientific skills and socio-emotional life in their adult life, as well as more enriching and deeper imaginative world within the inner self.
