Survey findings and summary
After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that Salt Lake City did well among cities nationally, receiving A's for overall small business friendliness and for its health and safety regulations. The city ranks as the #7 friendliest nationwide towards small businesses. The lowest grade Salt Lake City received was a 'C-' for its labor and employment regulations.
Some of the key findings for Salt Lake City include:
- Salt Lake City received a 'B-' for the friendliness of its tax code.
- Salt Lake City ranks as the state's least friendly region for small business.
