Introduction: I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions in all subjects of math and science. Locations are flexible (my home in Murray, your home, coffee shops, bookstores, or any place with WiFi). I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Physics from the University of Utah, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Utah. I have achieved high academic success in all math and science courses, and have received scholarships, fellowships, and grants as a result of my accomplishments. I have experience tutoring students of all ages and skill levels. I can easily adapt to many learning styles, and use real-world analogies to explain abstract concepts. I have helped many students who dreaded math pass difficult exams with confidence. Some of my students have even considered changing their courses of study to be more math-centered after discovering their ability to succeed at this often daunting subject. If you feel like you just can't understand difficult math and science concepts, I know I can help you! Possible subjects include, but are not limited to, pre-algebra, geometry, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, statistics, classical Newtonian physics, electrodynamics, general chemistry, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, data analysis, and computer programming (including Excel programming). On a less nerdy note, I live in Murray with my wife (no kids yet!), who teaches voice lessons from our home. I play drums and love to mountain bike and snowboard. Please contact me if you need help with math and science. I look forward to working with you!
