Monique Jacqueline Design offers an exciting full range of professional interior design services. Monique has had a love of interior design since childhood. She began sewing at the age of 9, through 4-H. She was decorating and sewing for friend's interiors or local storefronts at the age of 15. She has always been involved in home design in one way or another.

Monique Jacqueline Design can take a project from concept to completion, providing design consultation to enhance the beauty and function of residential interior spaces. Monique Jacqueline Design offers a full scope of services in the following:

* Paint and Color Consultation
* Fixture Specification (including, but not limited to, furniture and lighting)

Through established manufacturer relationships, Monique Jacqueline Design has developed extensive sources in the following:

My favorite part of working as a designer is helping my clients create spaces they are proud to show off. I truly believe that one's home should reflect their individuality. I try my hardest to incorporate their thoughts and desires in my every thought. I love to design interiors that bring pleasure and comfort to my clients for years to come.

    Monique has been an invaluable asset to me as we moved to the Salt Lake valley, bought a new home and had no established contacts for projects, decor or furnishings. She contract-managed several custom construction projects as well as our addition, helped guide me through color choices, coordinated painting interior & exterior, helped me with rugs, custom furnishings, fabrics, lighting, custom wood work, iron work and cabinetry, custom shutters and coordinated all the associated labor for my entire home. She is easy to work with, trustworthy and reliable, always listens, gets excited with me when a beautiful plan comes together and has become my friend. Her pricing is more than fair and her talent is vast. Having all the contractors available was also a big benefit! I don't know what we would have done without her. We have seen many designers in our time, but never one as good as Monique.

    We are very pleased with Monique's work as our designer and interface with our contractor for our recently-completed major home renovation project. Monique has practical knowledge and was able to work well with the construction craftsmen. She had excellent ideas for improving and enhancing our spaces, and also was very flexible and responsive to what we had in mind. As our project progressed Monique knew what we would want even before we did, and worked very hard to be sure we got the result we wanted -- both in the overall project and in the many smaller design details. In addition, Monique's has a special talent for selecting beautiful paint color combinations, both interior and exterior. Our project came out beautifully because of Monique, and I highly recommend her services!

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. FULL SERVICE DESIGN: This for the client who would like to work with me in person to change a small detail or custom design your home or space. I love working one on one with clients to help transform their spaces. With my eye for detail, we will work side by side to create a beautiful space that reflects your style and personality while incorporating my special details. I will personally design and decorate your home from start to finish, enabling you to enjoy the creative process of your project.

e-DESIGN - I love creating design plans for clients anywhere! Whether you live in rural areas of Utah or on the West coast or East coast or anywhere in between or even across the big blue sea! E-Design is for the client who needs a jump-start to their room, a plan and some direction. I’ll have you start by completing a profile questionnaire. I have some E-Design services detailed below. This questionnaire gets emailed to me at moniqueflesher@gmail.com. Once received, I will email you a price quote for the services requested. We will sign a contract, I will collect a retainer fee and our design process will begin.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Verify all references provided by each prospect. There has never been a more important time to know exactly who you are bringing into your home.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Take the time to research products that you think you want to bring into your home. If you are familiar with a few aspects, when someone is explaining different points you will be able to respond with pertinent questions accordingly.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. I am not sure there are certain questions that need to be asked when interviewing Interior Designers, I think that one of the most important aspects is making sure your personalities mesh well.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The most rewarding part of my career is being able to make people happy and comfortable in their homes! There is nothing more rewarding than seeing them excited with their transformations.
