Merry Pets offers a variety of services for your pets! We specialize in one-hour hikes in the Wasatch Mountains, Monday - Sunday. Dogs are off-leash and only in small groups with a very experienced, fully insured and bonded dog hiker. Pick-up and drop-off are included in the price. Prices vary on your number of dogs and how often. We offer discounts to our weekly regulars! We offer check-in visits and walks 1-3 times per day, for those of you with busy schedules or when your out of town and need a feeding, potty break, TLC, or walk. We offer overnight in-home care so your animals can be kept in the comfort of their own surroundings with a loving caretaker who can provide the love and attention you would. In-home care also provides additional services for your home and we are happy to accommodate other family pets. We offer discounts on trips over 8 consecutive nights. We love what we do and we would love the opportunity to get know you and your pets! **References available upon request.

Merry Pets were great. All 4 of my cats were happy when I returned. I have one that has medical problems and they were able to administer her meds with no problem.

I have just moved to Salt Lake for California. I emailed with Mary before I moved, then she called and we set up a meet and greet with Romeo. He has been on several of the hikes and is a happy guy when I get home from work!!! In addition to the walks, I have called on Merry Pets at the last minute for overnight support and they were right there!! My building planned a fire alarm testing - What?? - I knew this would send Romeo over the edge!! Merry Pets came to the rescue at the last minute and kept Romeo busy for the day!!! All of this in one short week!!! They are my hero's!!!

I just needed a sitter for a one day thing and Merry Pets worked out perfectly! I contacted them last minute for Thanksgiving weekend and they were still able to help me out even though they were busy. When I got home I was able to tell that my cat was well cared for. He was extra soft from a good brushing! Thank you Merry and Stephanie for a great experience!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers will be asked to fill out two online forms, and submit vaccination records for their pets. We offer consultations for new customers who are interested, and for those whose pets will benefit from a guided introduction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our walkers and sitters are bonded, licensed, and insured. We also attend a yearly pet CPR class.
