Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. IPS is licensed, bonded and insured. In this economy everyone wants to make a fast dollar and sometimes the results are far less than satisfactory when using someone who shortcuts the legal process to run a business!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How the bidding process works. Find someone who is detailed and can show you past projects. You don't need to see 4 different bids but you do need to find someone that is detailed in the bid. Any company that is willing to give you an item by item bid is someone you will have success with.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Are you insured? Do you have references? What professional affiliations are you involved with? Can I visit your place of employment? Will you warranty your work in writing? These are a few of the questions I would ask just to make sure I was dealing with a business that was legitimate.
