So impressed with SOJO Construction start to finish. We have the dreaded smooth walls, zero texture, in our home and they didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure they were perfect. Their pricing was fair, they cleaned up better than any subcontractor we’ve ever worked with, and their attention to detail was 10/10!

I requested a quote from several companies and SOJO Construction came out the next day and spent about 30 minutes with me to understand what I wanted and walk through my basement. I was looking to have drywall hung, finished and textured in my basement. From start to finish there was great communication, quality work and a finished product that I am thrilled with! If you are looking for great drywall at a fair price get a bid from them, you won’t regret it!

Doug and his team were fantastic to work with. He was very friendly, professional, and was very quick to respond to messages. He kept me up to date on schedules and when they expected to be done. The finished product was great, with a texture that matches the rest of the house. He made sure we were happy with the result, and we will definitely hire again for any future projects.

I’m very happy I chose SOJO Construction for my basement ceiling renovation project. I recently ripped down my old grid ceiling and brought these folks in to install a drywall ceiling with a nice finish and texture. (The attached photos were taken before I finished painting — they highlight the great work they did with mudding/texturing.) I can tell this family-run business takes great pride in their work. After I texted Doug about a small hiccup with the alignment of the initial holes cut for my canned lights, he personally came over the next morning to understand the problem and brought reinforcements to correct the issue straight away. I really felt like he truly wanted me to feel 100% satisfied with the final product and would do whatever necessary to gain my approval. They were reasonable about price, stayed within the expected timeframe, and did great work. Doug was very friendly and responsive to messages. I’m very happy with the outcome and would recommend SOJO Construction for any drywall project. ❤️

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give competitive pricing and are transparent. We are happy to answer any questions about where your money is going and why it is going there.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During my first appointment I like to get a good idea of what the customer wants and what their goal is for the space. I will explain the entire process, the timeline, price, experience, and then will email them a formal bid proposal. I then will show the customer the work we’ve done each day and make sure that everyone is on the same page and answer any questions. I’m very responsive and happy to answer any questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My dad has been doing drywall for 25+ years and I've been working with him since I was 10 (21 years).
