Introduction: It's fine if you want to lose weight, but I like my clients to evolve into strength and fitness and become functional and athletic. I come to my clients' homes with my own equipment. I have have had clients longer than 2 years. I don't carry a clipboard and just watch you go from exercise to exercise. It's like a physical education class -- fun and dynamic. I have a female client just about to turn 40, and her kids kicked a ball over the 6-foot vinyl fence. She couldn't believe how easy it was to just hop, climb, and get over to get the ball back. She not only looks good but can do things like a young athlete. That's cool to me. I have a BS in physical education teaching from Utah State. I am also nationally certified through the NSCA as a personal trainer. I was also a gymnastics coach for many years and focused on alignment and mechanics as well as strength, balance, and flexibility.
