I am a wedding photographer specializing in weddings, engagements, and bridals. I also offer family and children portrait sessions.
I am based in Tooele, Utah, but I travel across the state of Utah and am available for travel nationally.
My wedding photography style is creative and fun with a photojournalistic feel. I love capturing every little detail that couples put so much thought and effort into planning. I also adore capturing true, candid moments between the bride and groom to really show the way they felt on their special day.

A. Children, families, and weddings are the types of shoots I book most often.
A. Finding a photographer whose style you love is a wonderful way to get the results you want in your pictures.
The cheapest photographer does not necessarily equal the best deal.
A. The are loads of newbie "fauxtographers" advertising themselves as professionals. They offer their services for cheap and that's exactly what their images look like, cheap.
A. Anyone can pick up a camera and pose as a professional photographer. It takes a complex knowledge of photgraphy and a unique, creative eye to really be a successful photographer.
A. I grew up with a dad that has a deep love for photography. He shot weddings and landscapes my entire childhood. Watching him put that camera strap around his neck and snap pictures to his heart's content always intrigued me.
After I got married and had our first child, we were finally able to afford a camera that I could really get creative with. I woke up each day and practiced, practiced, practiced. My love for photography grew and grew and so did my skill.
I realized that the love of picture-taking wasn't just my dad's, it was mine as well. I decided to turn my passion into a business and here we are today!
A. Practice, practice, practice, and when you think you finally have it down, practice some more!
Also, don't start charging/advertising until you feel 100% comfortable with you camera AND skill. I feel that too many times, new photographers jump right into the business without having the proper skill and talent. It takes time to get really comfortable with shooting in manual and getting exposure down to a science!
Ask photographers that you admire if you can assist them on a shoot or volunteer to be a second-shooter. It's a fantastic way to learn the business and see how a shoot runs.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Remember, no question is ever a dumb one!
Good luck and have fun shooting!!
