A. Ask loads of questions like: Are you certified through a national home inspector organization such as ASHI or NACHI? What type of tests do you perform or what do you look for when inspecting the electrical, HVAC, roofing, structural, etc and do you include photos to document this? Do you offer any money back guarantees? Dont go with the cheapest guy alone. Does the inspector offer any additional services like radon testing, mold, meth, IAQ, etc? Do you have a website where I can download a copy of your home inspection report?
