Introduction: I absolutely love seeing my students get excited about something going on at the studio. We have an ongiong game (as in - it's been going for years!). The students have to memorize songs, complete theory, pass off assignments, etc to earn the money, cards, and gems for the game. It's fun to hear them strategizing and talking about it.

I worked at The Piano University For Kids LLC my last year and a half of high school and had a great experience. I helped teach a lot of the younger children, played games that really helped them learn their music theory, and still had the opportunity to increase my own abilities. There are many different ways to get kids involved in learning and keep them excited about it. There were opportunities to learn not only about theory and notes, but also about composers and chances to practice mini performances in addition to actual recitals. The only down side I can recall is that other parent helpers were not always as knowledgeable about music or there were not enough. Really a great studio for kids to learn to love music and love to learn music!

Absolutely amazing! From the time I started as a student at Connie Raddon's Piano University for kids until the time I left I learned more than I ever thought I would. Because of my experience as a piano student, I have learned not only better ways to practice and learn new songs, but I have also learned how to teach piano to others. Perhaps most importantly, I gained a love for music and a passion for piano. My time spent there was well worth every second.
