A. This is a tip for treating spots on your carpet or upholstery. For spills you should blot the excess fluid quickly and do not rub. The best cleanser in the world is water, thirty percent of all cleaning chemicals do not do as good of a job as water. I recommend Hot water, the hotter the better. Do not use foaming cleansers or soaps they will attract soil after cleaning and they could possibly set the stains. Never rub a spot or stain, this will only embed a spot deeper into the fibers. simply flood a stain and apply lots of pressure or do nothing and call us. only rub the spot or stain once you have exhausted flooding and bloting.

What carpet cleaning method do you use?
We vacuum, pre-spot stains by hand, pre-spray our shampoo to give the product time to activate and then follow with a warm water extraction also known as steam cleaning.

FAQ:How much do you charge?
Carpets are priced by degree of soiling, size and whether furniture is to be moved. Upholstery pricing is determined by size, degree of soiling and whether we are required to perform the wet cleaning or dry cleaning method. Floors typically require an on-site estimate, which we are happy to offer for free. Our sales team is prepared to offer a rough phone estimate based on "area" if need be.

FAQ:How long will it take my Carpet/Upholstery to dry?
Typically about 4 to 6 hours depending on the service performed & degree of soiling. We do have a chemical available to speed up drying time, if desired.

FAQ:Do you take Saturday appointments?
Typically we do not. We aim to schedule Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Disaster Restoration Services are handled right away and are treated as emergencies.

FAQ:What happens if the spots lift to the surface after you leave?
If you call us within a few weeks of service, we will come back and rinse them out, no charge, no questions asked.

FAQ:Are your machine's truck mount or portable units?
Our machine's are portable, we feel that they are more professional, easier to control and there is no fuss of having hoses throughout your home.

FAQ:Are your technicians your employees or are they subcontracted out?
Our daytime and even our nighttime employees work directly for our company.

FAQ:How long have your technicians been working for you?
In regards to three of our Full time employees: We are very proud to have a veteran technician that has been with us for 18 years; another one of our technicians has 15 years of experience & one of our other senior technicians has now been with us since 2004.

FAQ:Can you clean my Oriental rug in my home or do you have to take it to your warehouse?
If you have a generous space in your home for us to lay out the rug and clean it without damaging anything, we can clean it in your home. If not, we'd like to take it to our warehouse.

FAQ:I've just had water damage, what can you do for me?
We do our best to minimize your damage by providing water extraction, pad removal & placing drying equipment to prohibit the growth of mold and/or bacteria.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Cleaning is not a perfect science. Spots and Stains do not always come out. We wish they did but they don't. We use state of the art cleaning chemicals that are also environmentally safe. Along with our powerful equipment we are you best chance for success when it comes to getting things clean. We also provide invaluable advice and consultations on the spot (no pun intended).
