FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a W.I.T.S. certified personal trainer I am required to complete 10 hours of study within a 2 year period to maintain my status as a W.I.T.S. certified professional. But let me be honest with you and tell you that 10 hours are not enough in the health/personal fitness industry. I strive to always have at least 10 hours per year of continuing education credits. You want to make sure your training is well versed in current nutrition guidelines, exercise plans, and contraindicated exercises. You want to have a trainer that is devoted to keeping abreast to industry standards and are connected to the personal training community.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a personal trainer because I wanted to share my joy of helping people over come their personal struggles and become stronger physically and mentally. Losing weight and getting into shape is hard, my job is to encourage you to become healthier, happier, and stronger in a safe and comfortable environment.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with clients with preexisting conditions such as Scoliosis, Plantar fasciitis, and Parkinson's Disease. I have also worked with clients who are recovering from knee replacement, and ACL tears.
