Bev is a yoga alliance certified advanced yoga instructor and is certified in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy as a practitioner, yoga teacher and group facilitator. She was personally and uniquely mentored by Michael Lee, founder of Phoenix Rising Yoga, to facilitate his Phoenix Rising Workshop and with whom she has co-facilitated these workshops throughout the Northeastern US, including such world renowned venues as Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts and Satchidananda Ashram Yogaville in Buckingham, Virginia.

Bev is owner, director, practitioner and teacher at cultivate harmony yoga where she helps her clients and students find relief from suffering of stress and stress related conditions through private and group yoga. She has Bachelors and Masters degrees in business and 25 years of corporate experience managing people, processes, communications, results,... and stress.

The cultivate harmony yoga studio is located in The Meadows of Castle Rock, Colorado, only 8 minutes west of the Founders/Meadows Pkwy exit off of I25 and 15 minutes south of the I25/470 interchange in Denver.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. You don't need a gumby body to do yoga, just a willingness to listen to your body in your edges, honor what you hear, and be willing to explore that with acceptance and open curiosity.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The yoga I practice and teach is one that meets you wherever you are at in terms of experience, level of fitness, or limitations. We honor our bodies' unique edges and modify as needed to achieve the intentions of a posture, not the aesthetic. Don't mistake this to mean it is necessarily gentle or easy! It is whatever you need it to be in the moment - no more, no less.

A. Witnessing the positive benefits of yoga improve my clients' and students' lives.
