Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. First make sure that the provider will do what you want them to do. Don't let them do only what they want while incorporating your ideas. If it you're wanting a website, then make sure it looks and feels the way you want. You want people to come by your website and know that it belongs to you, it looks like something you would do, not just a template or a site that you wouldn't even want to visit.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much does or would it cost to have a website?
The answer can vary because you have to look at the initial cost, as well as, any monthly costs that might be involved. Some people may want a website and there is no real need for constant updates. Other people have sites that need maintenance or updates every week or even every month. So there will always be the initial setup fee, but whether there are any other charges will depend on what the Client will want from their website.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes, there is always new ideas and concepts that are coming about and available. There are classes that can be taken to learn more or keep myself up to date. I also have studied online through various websites on how to do things. There are certifications available for many of the things you can do with websites. I try to constantly keep up on things.
