A. DJ45rpm performs about 60 gigs/year with 40% weddings, 35% parties/dances and 25% organizational events. We also have 20 karaoke events/year.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most common question asked: What music will you play. Answer - DJ45rpm plays the music our customers want to hear. While we have 50,000 songs and 8,000 karaoke tittles on hand, we will provide a customer specific playlist. If we don't have songs that you want - we will get them.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We are pround of 95% of the gigs we entertain. When the customer says 'you were absolutely great', that's when we are happy, and we get this 95% of the time. The best experience is when we do a gig with 1,000 guests and make the place rock.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. DJ45rpm is the leader in adding laser light shows to DJ events and offers the best event effects lighting in Metro DC. With the new laser animation we offer, stagnant gobo projection for displaying letters and graphics is now passé. We are the only DJs to have many new powerful lasers with red, green and blue displays. We also use LED uplights that have changed the playing field with LED panels that out-perform 1000w par64 par cans with brilliant colors and effects.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Our pricing is available on line. The type of gig, duration and level of service deterime price. A simple music only gig may cost about $350 while an elaborate function with multiple setups, A/V, lighting and schedule planning may run up to $2,500

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. We don't sell what we have, we provide what the customer wants. Many local DJs can do a good job for a casual gig of 75 guests, but for larger gigs (200+ people) that has importance, you want a DJ who has the equipment (sound, lighting, a/v and music) and experience to help make your event a success. We can set up 7 events with the equipment we have available and have backup DJs.
