I had been having a lot of trouble with some performance issues on my laptop. Some of my friends made a variety of suggestions, but nothing seemed to help. I was hesitant to take it to a PC repair business because I was afraid of getting ripped off. Someone at work recommended Logimend LLC so I gave them a call.

Will was polite and very knowledgeable. I could tell he was a professional and could help me so he came and worked on my laptop. He was able to make some changes and adjust some of the settings and just as I was anticipating that he was going to sell me some expensive hardware upgrades, he was all finished.

He also downloaded some freeware programs to help me keep my PC maintained and running troulbe free and at top speed. His rates were reasonable and his service was accurate, fair, and honest.

I would commend him to anyone who needs work done on their computers or network.

I was experiencing problems with my laptop computer and having exhausted all possible resources from my own knowledge of PCs and information available on The Internet, I took a friend's recommendation to have someone at Logimend look at it. William McFatrick was quite knowledgeable about network and PC performance issues and I felt comfortable having him work on my laptop. He was courteous, professional, and promptly diagnosed and fixed my trouble. Knowing I was on a tight budget, he was able to enhance my system in such a way that I did not need any hardware or software upgrades which can be costly. He made all the changes based upon my existing setup and my personal needs on how I use my PC. He made some recommendations on how I can get even better results through some hardware improvement later on. My PC runs fantastic now and when my financial situation changes, I know I'll be taking all of my computer and network needs to Will in the future. I highly recommend him to friends personally and professionally. Call Logimend LLC for my contact info.

    Thank you,

    Brent Bailey

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My most common type of jobs are centered around computers, office equipment and network systems.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always ask questions on what work is being performed. Just make sure you have a general idea of what is happening in relation to the job!
Always expect respect from who ever performs any work for you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer, I would like to know how to build my own computers. If you take the time you can build a decent computer from scratch. All you need to do is find the parts at a low price. It will be much faster than off the shelf computers and the cost is only slighter higher if not the same.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. I would recommend having a list of technical questions and common sense questions before any work is performed.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work stands out from others because of my diligence to resolving customer problems. I offer more than just computer sales and service. We are an computer research and computer electronics engineering
company as well. We can build computers that your average IT company cannot do.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy helping people resolve problems that they encounter involving their computers and office equipment.
I like for people to say oh and say wow thanks for solving that problem.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How can I speed up my computer? I usually tell them to download software that can remove old files and unnecessary downloaded software. I usually recommend system optimization software as well.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. When I first started repairing computers, I got a request to repair a desktop pc. I had never met the individual before, they wanted to fix it and did not trust technicians in general. This individual was asking many questions which is understandable. Upon opening the pc, the problem was only a wire connection to the board. I fixed there problem at no cost,(it only took a second). Ever since then, the customer has never second-guessed trusting someone or at least give the benefit of the doubt to people. It showed the individual not everyone has an alterior motive.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish they new that the computer industry is always advancing and changing everyday. In order to provide help to people with technology, one must stay up to date on skillsets and industry standards.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I decided to enter this line of work because it's what I like to do.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I recently sold a laptop to a student and financed it for him.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I have to keep to with industry certifications like A+
amongst other educational advances as well.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The latest developments are in relation to the size of devices compared to today. Even the latest technology is considered old even though it is only one-month old. The future of technology that seems promising involves nanotechnology and optics. There will be a mergance of using light transmission as a way of providing electricity to devices.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I have not recieved any recent long term projects to mention. I have only recieved small orders from customers.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. I do not have a complicated pricing system, my system is simple. I finance my services to help people.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would recommend getting certified from vendors and manufacturers before acquiring a formal education and also getting some hands on real world experience.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. I need to install a small network for my home, what do I need to install one. If you want to install a small network,
all you need is a some cabling,a router or a switch if you are connecting multiple pc's and make the software is compatable. You also create a network under network connections, this must be done so that each computer can see each other through their network card.
