We used Total Renovating to remodel our 1980s kitchen (cabinets, counters, backsplash, plus some plumbing and electrical). In the design phase Russell really listened to us and didn’t try to push additional services or upgrades, allowing us to keep to a comfortable budget. The project did stretch a couple of weeks longer than anticipated, but the end result is lovely. All our concerns throughout the process were swiftly addressed. We are excited to use our new functional, beautiful kitchen!

We had Total Renovating remodel our primary bathroom, and relocate the laundry room to the second floor. The end result was beautiful, and we are very happy with the result. The team took our design and made it come to life. Tyron was very responsive and quick to address anything that came up. The team was professional and respectful of our home and our time. Quote and materials selection process was great! We added some items we sourced ourselves, and the change order process was smooth as well. All in all they did a great job and we were very happy

We had a fantastic experience with Total Renovating and would absolutely use their services again and recommend them to others. Russell and his crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He did a beautiful full kitchen remodel for us as well as two partial bath remodels, putting in a new window, siding repair and a couple smaller things around the house. He went above and beyond working with us even before the contract was signed to identify materials that we liked so that the estimate would be as accurate as possible, which we really appreciated as it was not something we got from the other contractors we were in talks with. He was also able to finish our kitchen on a much shorter timeline than the other bidders were estimating. Russell and his team were responsive, transparent and reliable throughout the process and we are extremely happy with the finished product!

We had a complicated bathroom remodel which required a complete overhaul of the layout of the bathroom. The owner, Russell, was able to help me come up with a design that would utilitize the space to the fullest. The moving of the toilet, plumbing, and electric required a county inspection which the company was not intimidated by and I was thankful to have a company that was licensed, insured, and willing to do what was required. They were also very accommodating when it came to the timeline as I had several required stops and starts. There were some complications with communication, lack of detail, and leaving things dirty by the work crew which did cause frustration during the process. However, Russell made sure everything was ultimately resolved and the end result was a beautiful bathroom that I was very happy with.

We use fair market pricing and offer discounts when available. By providing a detailed proposal, our pricing/proposals are extremely accurate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.Site visit for first consultation and measurements. 2.Compose and deliver detailed proposal. 3.Meet at showroom to review drawing and finishing materials included in proposal. 4. Sign contract and schedule start date. 5. 3D design composition and finalization as needed. 6. Start and complete project. 7. Certificate of completion and another happy client!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years of experience in construction and remodeling. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Management Concentration. By caring an aptitude to render 2 and 3 dimensional drawings, we can achieve perspectives with excellence.
