- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated, but each event is priced based on type of flower, design and quantity. Each client is provided an itemized contract with two categories, floral and decor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Subscription to several floral publications; on track to attend Floral Expo, courses and research to keep up-to-date with the latest trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Over 7 years ago, I supplied floral arrangements for Kyler's A+ Catering, a mobile catering company based in Northern Va. (Chef Kyler has appeared on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen, and was declared the Victor; more recently, he was a Finalist on Food Network's Star.) Through floral arranging and design, I developed a love and passion for this profession. Thus, I recently launched Luxury Floral & Event Design.
