Mark Osborne of the band Dedline has over 20 years of experience teaching students how to play acoustic and electric guitar.

Mark is currently teaching lessons out of his house and accepting new students in Fairfax, VA. If you want to learn how to play your favorite song, or learn how to read guitar tabs, play chords and learn scales, Mark can teach you.

Most of Mark's students in the past are now playing in local bands around the area. If you dream of playing guitar, Mark can take you to the next level.

Mark's rates are competitive and hard to beat. Mark teaches for the enjoyment of helping the student grow as a musician.

He is patient, helps you get the basics down quckly and moves you on to play whatever typeof music you want to learn...it was worth the time and money to be able to play well....sign up while he is available, you will never regret it!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How efficient is the instructor?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The y must bring their own guitar and amp if wanting to learn how to play the electric guitar.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I get results. I make learning fun and easy for my students.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Transferring my knowledge of music to my students. Watching them grow as competent musicians.

A. How long have you been teaching the guitar?

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I've been playing the guitar now for over 30 years. When I first was taught by my instructor she taught me as if I was right handed when I am actually left handed although I play the guitar right handed.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I work either in a group enviornment or one on one with my student. Whichever setting the student prefers.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I've been playing now for over 30 years and I love to write music. I write for BMI (Broadcast Music Industry)

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I Collaborated with an artist known as Julie Day on a song called "Got To Have You" which was written to help raise money for Services For Brain Injury and to raise money for the children of Haiti Earthquake victims avaliable on Abhi Ken's album "Haiti We Are There For You" on Ifusion records.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project was the completion of my bands album "All Said And Done" by Dedline which is avaliable for digital download via amazon.com and Itunes.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Teaching requires that you are able to transfer your knowledge by explaining and working with the students. Helping them to gain confidence is key to being successful as an instructor.
