This day care is great for babies and kids. My goal is to provide a fun, safe and caring environment where the children get to play and learn. I treat each child like my own, giving each my loving and undivided attention. I do routines everyday with the children based on their needs, even if they're only 9 months old.
I teach the children various basic skills from their ABC's to working math problems based on their ages. In my day care, the children prepare for school, and if they're in school, I help with their school work. I've taken various classes specialized in the developments of babies and kids in which I apply to the daily activities to encourage them to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. I'm state licensed, and CPR certified in Virginia.
My day care is very spacious with one room for their activities, and another for the nursery. The activities room has a very stimulating atmosphere, where various activities and toys are available for the children, giving them ample opportunities to learn and have fun at the same time. The nursery is very calming and a great place for the children to unwind in the middle of the day for nap time.
I have a large, specialized fenced-off area for the children to play in when the weather outside permits. I own no pets, and there are no smokers around the day care. My day care is located on West Ox rd, close to Navy Elementary and Fair Oaks Hospital. I'm open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Mon.-Fri.
