I am so excited to offer affordable custom photography in the Fredericksburg and Northern Virginia areas.
While working at a custom photography studio in downtown, I was able to learn a lot about producing great quality photographs, but was so discouraged by the pricing that people, like myself, just cannot afford in today's economy. So, once the studio had to officially close its doors and I was given the opportunity to start my own business, I knew immediately in which direction I wanted to go.
I hope you all enjoy my work and that my pricing is reasonable for you. While I consider myself a bit of a "frugalista", I also enjoy the finer things in life, and I strive to provide beautiful memories that you and your family can cherish for a lifetime at a price that you can afford right now.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I am available for pretty much any type of photography service you may need. I mostly do family portraits, usually outdoors. One of my very first photo shoots was of my own baby girl, when she was just over a month old! I've been hired to shoot quite a few weddings and engagement photos, as well as high school senior portraits!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure that you have the same style of photography in mind and that your personalities get along well!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. When posing for a picture, never stand straight-on to the camera. Stand at a slight angle, bending your front knee and shifting your weight onto that leg. You'll instantly lose a few pounds ;) Always remember to stick your chin out a bit to avoid a double. And roll your shoulders back and stand up straight - it's all about confidence!
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Think about if you want your session to be indoor or out, how many people will be in your portraits, and what you will be wearing. For group photos, it is not necessary to match - your outfits should complement each other. Think in the same family of colors, and make sure they fall in the same fashion (dressy, casual, etc.)

A. I provide quality custom photography at AFFORDABLE prices!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love meeting and working with new people. I love that I get to be creative with my job!

Answer: Session fees start as low as $25!
We have "mini-sessions" once a month, which are the most affordable sessions around! For more customized sessions and events, prices range from $50 to $100 an hour. Print prices also vary depending on the session.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I've always had a love for photography. Even as a child, I would snatch up my parents' cameras to snap photos. In high school, I took a few photography classes, and before I started out on my own, I worked at a custom photography studio in Downtown Fredericksburg.
