Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Beck and Call photography, owned by Jennifer Catron does several things differently than other wedding photographers. I suppose the one that stands out the most is that she prefers to work more hours than less, which means that all packages come with unlimited hours, and she actually likes being there around 14 hours on wedding day. I don't know of any other photographers that do that, not even one. Another is her dedication to the art. She is so in love with what she does, that she prices her services low so that she works more weddings. Jennifer considers her work, her "playtime" so she goes out of her way to make sure that the couple has everything they want in their package at a price they can afford. Her images have won multiple awards for creativity, overall aesthetics, and quirkiness.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love everything about wedding photography. Being included in the most important day of someone's life is such a huge high. The actualy creativity that I bring to work each day, from shooting the images, to digitally altering and perfecting the image, to the design of the albums. If it isn't fun then I find a way not to do that part. Ive designed my business so that each and every phase of the process is a creative outlet for me, which means I can't wait to wake up in the morning and get to work.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Are there extra fees for travelling? Only if the wedding is over a hundred miles from Fredericksburg.
Is there more than one photographer? No
Can I pick the locations for my bridal or engagement pictures? Yes
Does unlimited hours really mean more than eight hours? Yes, usually around 14 hours is what I spend with the couple.
Can I have the digital files in high resolution with the copyright? Yes
