A. Always be your dog's advocate. Ask about training methods and tools used. Progressive trainers use science-based learning theory that effectively trains your dog in a way that is force-free, dog-friendly, and Fun! Find a trainer that you can build a rapport with, and if a training method makes you feel uncomfortable and doesn't build your relationship with your dog, seek an alternative.
