I provide private and group instruction in clarinet and saxophone for students of all ages and abilities. I offer group instruction for young students on Clarineo, the amazing new 'kinder-clarinet', as preparation for future enjoyment and success on all woodwinds in the school band programs.
I have 20-plus years of college, pre-college and conservatory teaching experience.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When we pick up a musical instrument, we do not call it 'working' the instrument, we call it 'playing' the instrument. I ask my students to enjoy themselves, and 'play music' every day!

A. Only the most enthusiastic and insightful performers can truly make the best music teachers. By our own activity we inspire our students to search for new possibilities and for new capabilities, themselves.

A. Will your goals be flexible in meeting my/my child's goals for music instruction?

A. Music is an 'applied art' form, requiring the repeated application of slowly acquired skills that develop gradually and reveal progress over time. Put simply, learning music requires patience and perseverance.
