I am the co-author of an ethnic cookbook published in February, 2013 by Pelican Publishing. Bob was the book's photographer and provided over 100 awesome images for this project. He understood our vision from the beginning. Throughout the 20-week production schedule he paid a lot of attention to all the critical details and continuously showed both the technical skills and artistry to help our food come alive on the pages. Bob worked really well with the graphic designer and others on the team. Additionally, his extensive knowledge of the printing industry enabled him to make the publisher's job easier as well. We would be happy to work with Bob again on our next project and recommend him highly.

I hired Bob to restore an old family photo. I thought the photo was beyond help and had just about given up on it. A friend had Bob take a portrait of her husband and she was absolutely thrilled with the quality of his work. She spoke very highly of him and his professionalism. After hearing of her satisfaction I decided to give Bob a call. I described the condition of the photo to him and he was confident he could restore the image. The work was done quickly and the photo is better than ever! This photo had creases, faded areas, and was cracked in quite a few spots. The color and sharpness in the finished photo was awesome. I would recommend Bob to anyone wanting a photographer or any kind of digital image work. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of the art and a pleasure to do business with.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lifetime member of various photography and imaging organizations, attend all photo equipment shows and take at least 3 new advanced courses annually.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Portraits and headshots. I love outdoor and location shooting, but also love the ability to shape my light with my studio lighting.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with the photographer beforehand to discuss what you want from the photo shoot. Communication is key. Make sure he gets to know you first and understands and shares your vision before you start shooting.
