We have a USCG-inspected vessel that can accommodate 38 passengers for rides on the Occoquan and Potomac Rivers in Lorton, VA. We are based out of the Occoquan Regional Park and can pick up passengers there and in several other locations.
We do 1 hour tours on the Occoquan every Saturday from 12:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m until dark. These rides cost $10 per adult and $5 per child 4 to 12 years old. Children under 4 is free.
We also offer round-trip rides every Saturday night to Tim's Rivershore Restaurant in Dumfries on the Potomac River. The cost is $25/adult and $10/child.

I had a great time cruising down the Occoquan River with Rivershore Charters. Capt. Mark gave us a lot of history about the area. The boat was very comfortable and air-conditioned. I highly recommend Rivershore Charters.

A. We can handle parties, meetings and get togethers of almost any kind. We have had 5 full weddings with their own receptions right on the boat.
The boat is heated and air conditioned for year round use.
There is a great sound system that can play your CD's or your IPOD.
A. We are the only passenger carrying vessel operating in lower Fairfax and Prince William Counties.
We are set up nicely to accomodate up to 38 passengers but groups of only 2-10 can really enjoy the boat.
We are very flexible with times of operations. A charter or tour can start at any time of day or night!!
We can take payment by cash, check, credit card or Paypal.
A. While Capt. Mark has now done these rides over 1000 times, each group is different and makes his time on the boat a real pleasure that he always enjoys. Providing a safe, pleasant ride on the river is main goal.

DO you offer refreshments?
There is always, water, soda and chips for sale. Additionally, for all but the hourly tour rides, we offer beer and wine and can arrange catering from a number of local food vendors. There are times when Capt. Mark will allow a customer to bring their own food.
