Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Our most common jobs are full auto detailing done with our mobile service. We detail our the interior, trunk, engine, hand wash and wax and remove paint transfer and environmental fallout. This service takes between 1-4 hours. Most of our clients upgrade to our exclusive "Always Detailed Program". Offered to our full detail clients for a monthly fee of just over a car wash price. In that program we maintain their vehicle each month including waxing and stain removal as needed. They never have to pay for a full detail again.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. We completed a headlight restoration on a 1998 Dodge Neon. Total Clarity was achieved from almost no visibility. Our nine step process removed the cloudy, yellow damage to a clear, scratch free lighting surface.
We washed and detailed 11 vehicles the are on our always detailed program this past saturday.
We detailed and performed Oxigen Generator services on a Ford F150 including cleaning air conditioning system to remove polen deposits. This vehicle had paint oxidation, which we were able to restore to a showroom shine. We also restored his faded wheel well flares with our plastic restoration system.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Don't look for the lowest price, check that the servicer is professional, insured properly and authorized to work in the region. This is not just a car wash, but a specialized service. Ask what steps they use to detail your vehicle. Look at their website and their referals. Customer testimony will indicate what type of service you are hiring. All servicers should have a copy of their General Liability, Garage Keepers, Uninsured Motorist and Commercial Auto coverage on their truck. If you're unsure ask to see a copy. If they don't have insurance, don't hire them.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Auto Detailing is an ever evolving industry. There are guys that just wash and wax your car, we strive to look deeper and find ways to enhance your vehicle. From scratch repair, oxidation restoration, headlight restoration, odor ellimination and more, we provide a complete package designed with your specific needs in mind.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy restoring a clients car to a new look. I love a challenge and especially the end result. The best part is when the car/truck RV is done, I get to show it off to the customer. We love making our customers happy and making the appreciate their vehicles once again.
We always get great complements on not only our attention to detail, but our work ethic and customer focus. Love this job!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I've always had an interest in auto detailing. I knew it wasn't just cleaning cars. Detailing holds out so many opportunities for a person who wants to learn. There are other aspects to detailing other then a normal wash and wax. You can do paint correction, remove overspray, restore foggy headlights, repair oxidation, remove stains, protect paint, fix windshields, rims, dents. So many opportunities in this line of work. You can take something ordinary or old and make it look beyond what the factory can do. Very rewarding career path. The detailing industry is growing and expanding to bigger and better things.
