Introduction: Having been trained in England as a Floral Designer I had to attend a 3 year college program learning the mechanics behind a lot of what we do, color and design element, texture etc. I then went on to master in European Wedding Design which was so much fun. I have over 20 years experience in the field so with my knowledge and training I feel I do have a slight edge. I just plainly LOVE my job. I think my work shows just how much.

Wow! Or as they say in Rome, mamma mia! (sorry, just got back from my honeymoon there hehe) Lisa was beyond amazing! I met with several florists, but as soon as I met Lisa, I looked no further. Please brides, don't be deterred that she works from her home! She genuinely wants to be sure you have the wedding you dream of, and she makes your dream come alive. I showed her flower ideas that I found online and told her my general vision, unlike any other florist I had met with, she helped me expand on my vision and mamma mia did she really nail it! I wanted a rustic winter wonderland (I got married in December). She suggested her husband make the wood flower boxes I wanted - to keep costs lower AND I got to keep all the boxes at the end of my wedding night. I ended up letting guests take centerpieces home, and they were all taken by the end of the night because they were just beautiful! 100 percent without a doubt you should go with Lisa! I had to text her the morning after my wedding to let her know just how much I Ioved everything! I feel like she went above and beyond her job, but she made me feel like it was nothing. On your wedding day you need positive can-do people around you and I can guarantee you Lisa will be that person for you! :-)

We were planning a large Bat Mitzvah celebration for our daughter, who requested a "NYC" theme for the event. We began looking for unique and creative centerpiece ideas that could help capture the "spirit" of NYC. After interviewing several florists, Lisa really won us over when she suggested she could create a variety of tall centerpieces for each table that would incorporate beautiful flowers along with popular scenes of NYC landmarks resting high on top, Lisa can provide more details about her unique, handmade creations, but needless to say, she was diligent, extremely detailed, and very easy to work with in helping create the desired effect we were looking for. Our guests are still talking about how ingenious, creative and beautiful all the tables were. We would hire Lisa again in a "New York minute!"

As soon as my fiance and I met Lisa we knew she would be a perfect fit, and we couldn't have been more right! Lisa is super sweet,energetic, and easy to work with. She has a true passion for what she does and it definitely shows in her work. I came to Lisa with some ideas about the general look i wanted for my wedding, and she made my ideas come to life, but even better than I had imagined. I had a ton of flowers/candles at my wedding including large centerpieces, foliage across multiple fireplace mantles, mini succulents in pots as favors and even a chuppah that Lisa made and adorned with flowers. Everything was GORGEOUS!! My bridesmaids told me their bouquets were the prettiest they have seen. I am still getting compliments on the flowers and decor at my wedding. Lisa is a true artist, and her work really made my venue come to life. Lisa is awesome!!

TREMENDOUS thank you to Lisa! Lisa is absolutely phenomenal and her work is exceptional! Because of her creativity (and amazing skills), I received many compliments for the wedding bouquets and centerpieces (and everything flower-related). They're still one of my favorite aspects of the wedding day! Everything was perfect! What impressed us the most was not just her creativity, but the way she worked with us. Lisa was very flexible and was willing to work with our budget to make our dream come true! I truly loved working with Lisa as she helped us along the planning process to figure out my vision for the wedding centerpieces and flowers, all of which turned out better than I could have even imagined. Lisa was fantastic! First off, when I told her my budget, she didn't scoff at me like some florists did. Instead, she talked to me about my options and the flowers that worked best with my budget. I'm not a huge rose fan and love carnations, which helped. I showed her my colors and what I wanted and boy did she deliver. The flowers were stunning and elegant and were everything I described to her. The arch I rented from her was beautiful and she set everything up with my coordinator while I was getting ready. She was really personable and really listened to what I wanted and everything was perfectly on time. More than anything, her communication was outstanding, which I've dealt with vendors that were a hassle to get a hold of. She always messaged me back within a day. She made my wedding look absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend her if you want stunning flowers from someone reliable. Thanks Lisa!!!

I am always reading, attending shows and searching through the internet for new ideas. I do love a challenge.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask as many questions as you can think of, even if you think they are silly!! There is never a silly question. If your florist cannot answer it then she is definitely not the one for you.
