Introduction: Well-respected among her colleagues and in her community, Ms. Miorini is a sought-after speaker for legal, accounting, and business groups. She writes periodically on estate and tax planning articles for the French magazine, La Plume, and lectures regularly to the Continuing Legal Education for Professionals and the National Business Institute on probate, tax, ethics, and Medicaid issues.
She is extensively involved with local professional organizations, serving as president-elect of the Virginia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorney (current); chair of the Elder Law Section of the Fairfax Bar Association (2011-2013); secretary for the McLean Estate Planning Council; and Council Member of the Elder Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. Recently, she founded the Flying Solo Group, an organization for local Attorneys, as well as the French Attorneys Group.
Yahne also enjoys being involved in the local community. She is President of the Comité Tricolore (a non-profit providing assistance to those in need). In her spare time, she organizes dinners for professional and non-profit organizations, sings, and enjoys spending time with her husband, two teenage children and cat.
