Look radiant on your special day, from flawless skin to eyes that shine. I can create the look for you! I am a makeup artist for Mac Cosmetics. I am Mac certified, and I use Mac products and tools. I have plenty of experience with media, lighting, headshots, and highlighting the right areas. I have been in the field and freelancing (weddings/events and makeovers) for over 5 years. I provide and apply false eyelashes to all clients (natural or dramatic), but not valid for trials. I specialize in weddings, special occasions, industries, bridal parties, bridal showers, baby showers, fashion shows, photo shoots, lessons, etc. I am pleasant and professional in nature, and I have high regards for sanitation. I work with your style (natural or dramatic), and I am familiar with all skin types and complexions. I enhance your most captivating features, and I make you look and feel your best for your special event. I prep the skin with high-quality skin care products then begin with the makeup application. I also work with your comfort zone. I am a perfectionist and expert in what I do. I apply your makeup at your preparation site. I prefer doing trials in advance, so that there is no room for error on the day of the event and you feel comfortable and relaxed with my artistry. I work throughout DC metropolitan area (VA, DC, and MD), and I am willing to travel to other East Coast cities. Larger parties may receive discounted prices. My professional services include the following: * Bridal: $175 (including trial, lashes, and travel within 25 miles) * Bridal party- $75 additional person(s) * Groom - $35 * Flower girl - $20 (12 and under) * Special occasion makeup - $75 each person (minimum of 4) * Makeup lessons: $250/2 hours on-site show and teach (Group rates are available) These prices include false lashes, as well as lash application, a trial (bride only) and travel (within 30 miles). I use Mahnaz Safi for my wedding (June 2013) she did a wonderful job with me she is just a wonderful person she listens to you in what you want but will also give you Advice. Mahnaz is not just a good make up artist but she also is like a person you already know from a while back she talkes with you while working Instead of some make up artist are just quiet and serious she kept me calm. Mahnaz was an absolute legend. I hired her for my wedding in October and she was nothing but amazing. I hired her for hair and makeup. She had a hairstylist who specialized especially in updos and hair while she handled the makeup. She also had another hair and makeup artist to work on my + 25 bridesmaids and attendees who wanted makeup and hair. She nailed my brief to perfection and I am still getting comments on how amazing my hair and makeup was. I wanted something very non-traditional. The style looked effortless and rustic which is exactly what i was going for. It didn't budge all day it was a rustic chic look and needless to say was on the receiving end of many many comments and the makeup did not bug or look heavy. I didn't want to wash off my face at the end of the night. I also wanted lashes that would last me throughout the next day so she suggested wearing semi permanent lashes and she applied them or me the day before my wedding which lasted me 3 weeks until my fill. I woke up looking beautiful every day not worried about my lashes flapping off. I love this girl. Her and her team were incredible!!!!

I had a huge birthday for my 12 year old daughter, Katie and decided it would be a great idea to have all of her friends come over to our house and get their makeup done, paint their own nails and do fun girly activities. I met Sarah, Mahnaz's sister at the MAC counter inside Nordstrom/ Dulles Mall who is a makeup artist as well. She mentioned she did freelancing with her sister, Mahnaz and they could travel which was convenient because originally I wanted to take the girls to the mall but being a comfortable setting, like my house it felt like a way better option, considering parents would have to leave me responsible supervising their kids at the mall. We got a quote per person and it was discounted because we had a group rate package to $60/ person for 14 people which wasn't bad because each parent was responsible for each child's fee! They came 15 min prior to set up, (very professional I must say) wearing all black, they provided LED lighting, and had professional cameras so the girls received the experience they would if they were at a studio. Their kit was full of products from MAC, NARS, URBAN DECAY, keeping everything clean and sanitary. They made the girls feel beautiful as they complimented each one and beautified them! Everyone was thrilled with the makeup received and the girls were up until past midnight (wasn't a school night) they were sweating by the en of the night and still their makeup stayed in place, they didn't even want to remove it before going to sleep! The ladies followed up with us with an email to make sure everything went well and to give me the colors she used on my daughter because I wanted to purchase them (very long wearing) Overall I was very delighted and pleased with the service we received from both Mahnaz and Sarah. I plan on utilizing their services in the future! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
