- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
BITS Pet Sitting process is to do a free consultation with the potential client and their pet (s). Then after hired a contract is signed and dated by both parties with the client and pets information (veterinary info, shot records, emergency contact, and alarm code of available, and specifics of what is needed to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with animals for 20 years. I've worked as a pet-sitter, kennel technician, veterinary assistant, pet store employee, groomer, and obedience trainer. I'm also certified in all of these occupations through a vocational school in Binghamton, NY. I've volunteered for a Humane Society in Binghamton, NY, where I rehabilitated a pit bull and did fund raising. I'm currently a student at Penn Foster, where I will be earning a A.S. as a Veterinary Technician. I'm passionate about what I do because I love animals, and want them to be happy along with their owners.
