In the heart of Olde Towne Portsmouth, I have been selling and servicing computers since 1990. I work only by appointment, and my hours are 8 to 7 from Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8 to 5. We are closed on Sunday.

I am well known in the Hampton Roads area from Talk Radio AM790. My method of work is more like that of an old-time tailor in which every suit was handmade. My office was a grocery store in the 1800s, and this is where we will sit down to discuss what you need in a computer or determine what services your current system is in need of.

I have a bachelor's in industrial psychology and a minor in physics.

Most repairs are same day.

With over 5000 satisfied clients, I make sure each person is treated individually and with respect.

Call us for an appointment to discuss your needs or visit my website to see my services and rates.

I am a licensed business in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Joe's service is strictly one on one. It's kind of like going to a Doctor where you are seen individually. I've tried the big Geeks and they treat you like a number. Joe really is like the olden days where you actually got to know who you are dealing with. I wouldn't go to anyone else to have my computer fixed.

I was fortunate to come across Joe several years ago
b/c I know just enough to get by when it comes to computers.
Over the years we have had a few different set-ups.
Two hard wired PC's, then wireless, and now one PC and laptop. And Joe has taken us through all those changes with his fine service and follow-thru. Even though he doesn't make house-call's if I have any problems or questions he always answers emails the same day...most times the same hour. The best part is that through the years and all the changes, we have not purchased a new PC....just the laptop! That's b/c Joe has upgraded the PC several times and cleaned up all the ugly viruses you pick up just by being exposed to the internet. We especially appreciate in honesty with not telling us we need a new computer when we don't. Most fixes, with him, we've found are just minor software updates and/or reloading of programs.
A computer is a personal thing. You are trusting someone with all your files, pin numbers and information when you hand over your computer. The ONLY person we trust with all that
is Joe! In fact, as I write this I know this ole PC needs another tune up.
Thanks for being there Joe! You've not only saved us untold dollars....but our sanity!

Joe has been my go-to guy for years. I've never had a problem he didn't fix fast and at a very reasonable price.
I've even taken it to him with a bad part which I didn't
know I had, and he did it for me gratis. His knowledge is awesome. I trust him completely. A good man as well.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work is similar to that of a fine tailor of yesteryear. I see clients individually and I spend time determining their needs which are specific to them.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love computers and I love the good they can do. I love the fact that I have resisted the calls to start a big computer store. I do not have a need for a large store where customer service is absent. i listen to my clients and I perform the work needed necessary to get them back up and running.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most common question I get is this. My computer is 3-5 years old, should I replace it?

My answer is absolutely no. You do not need to replace a computer if it is still functioning to your needs. A single core Pentium 4 will play YouTube videos, get your email, utilize Skype and perform Google searches just as well as any quad-core machine. There is no single solution for every user. If you need video editing capability or high-end gaming then you do need more power and superior graphics capability. I will customize my used or new machines to what it is my clients are in need of.
