What we do here at Novastar is provide our clients with some of the most talented, experienced, and motivated Learning​ Coaches. 75% of our Learning​ Coaches have Master’s Degrees and have experience aiding students in achieving academic success, creating personal goals, and building confidence in any subject matter. ​​ We carefully match and select a Learning​ Coach to your child based on their needs and personality because we believe that having the right person guiding your child is the key to learning. We provide our Coaches with the information that you have shared with us and they prepare for the sessions by bringing additional learning resources with them so your child is engaged, working, and learning for the entire session. Novastar not only provides exceptional results, but excellent service! We go above and beyond with our: - Tutor Match Guarantee - We speak with you extensively about your child's needs and match them with a subject matter expert. We guarantee that you will love your tutor or we will rematch you immediately! - Follow-Up and Follow-Through - We call you the next day to make sure that everything went smoothly with the tutor. The tutor also submits their feedback the following day so that we can discuss your child's strengths and weaknesses with you. - Guaranteed Tutoring- No need to worry about a tutor leaving you suddenly: our tutors are required to give 30 day notice if they need to stop working. In that 30 days, we speak with the tutor to learn about your child's particular needs and rematch them with a new tutor who is caught up with what your child is doing! - Background Checks - All of our tutors go through a rigorous background check and screening including speaking with multiple references and running a National Criminal Background Check. Communication is also a big part of who we are at Novastar. The Education Coordinators regularly follow up with both you and the Learning​ Coach placed with you to see how the sessions are progressing and ensure that you are pleased with both the Learning​​ Coach and your child's progress! Our team's primary concern is your child's growth and progress, so it only makes sense that we operate like a small family ourselves.
